In 1905 the Fuller-Wenstrom Electrical Manufacturing Company was established who manufactured and distributed Swedish made electric motors. The company relocated from West London to Walthamstow when the company become known in 1910 as Allmanna Svenska Electric Company Limited later to become ASEA (Great Britain). In 1919 the company began to manufacture transformers. During an air raid in 1944 the factory was damaged, and the company also then occupied the former premises of Barnet Ensign Ross across the road who made cameras for many years. In 1957 the company was acquired by the Bush Group which later merged with Hawker Siddeley. In 2003 the company closed.
